A party at a Build-A-Bear Workshop can be for so much more than just a birthday. No matter what brings your family together, whether your children are part of a sports team, club, or church group, there is always room to celebrate. On February 17th, my daughter turned 8 years old. I can’t believe that she is already 8 years old—it seemed like it was just yesterday that I swaddled her in her baby blanket. And now she is a 2nd grader.
My daughter wanted to have her birthday shindig at Build-A-Bear Workshop, so she invited a few of her friends to celebrate with her. Build-A-Bear is one of her favorite places and I thought the idea of her making new furry friends with her friends was something she would always remember.
The kids made bears, they laughed, they played, and they created memories. And as I watched the kids mix and mingle and enjoy themselves, it made me thankful for having such a wonderful daughter. She has been such a blessing to me and to our family!
