I remember the first bear I built and I was hooked from the start, even though I only have my one bear, my first and only bear he’s still my most precious possesion. I’ve had numerous surgeries and he’s gone with me to every hospital visit, I even woke once to see that he had been bandaged just as I was. The doctors have never teased me nor my friends even though I’m 28, and should have out grown him years ago in many people’s eyes, he’s my boon companion, and we’ve been through the fire and out again together. Recently though the love of my life passed away in a tragic accident and all I’ve wanted to do is build another special friend so in a way I can keep my soul mate with me in some way until we meet again. The thought of being able to do this has brought me a lot of comfort but since I’ve recently become disabled I haven’t had the funds to fullfil my wish. I’m praying with all my heart that I win one of these special bears because it would mean so very much to me and I’d finally have more than just the thought of building my very special bear to comfort me on these trying days and empty nights. I would actually have my bear to hold close when I’m down and beside me while I continue to go through my surgeries and doctors appointments. I know to some it may seem like a small thing but to me it is so much more than that. Since my love was with me and helped me build my very first bear it is so perfect that I build my last as my connection to him. Thank you for the opportunity to enter this contest and my greatest thanks for creating such a wonderfully unique and special company. I know the chances of me winning are slim to none but I will build my extra-important bear no matter what no matter how long it takes, because I know in my heart that once I’m able to hold my furry friend in my arms a little bit of the whole in my heart that was left when my love passed away will be filled. Once again thank you and I pray God blesses you with nothing but wonderful things since your company has done nothing but give beautiful blessings to people of all ages, races, sizes, and abilities. You have my graditude and always.

We had a build a bear party for our girl scouts and it was awesome…the gal in Northwoods Mall, Peoria, IL was so great at showing our girls a great, fun time!!! Most of our girls bought the 100th year in Girl Scouting Bear! Thanks, Build a Bear!!!

build a bear is the best I play online and it is alot of fun even my little dog noah loves to play with your bears he has one that we call daddy it is the police dog and he loves playing with him we tell him go get daddy and he knows exactly who we mean and he brings him to us.cute or what.thanks build a bear Tammy Hayes

I have always been a fan / collector of teddy bears. They are my heart and soul. I fell in love with Build a Bear from day one! My bears have been through a lot together. I know It seems strange to here a grown woman tell you that her best friends are a teddy bear but it’s true as I live 2hours away from all my friends and family so these bears have become very special to me. I love all of them and each one holds a special meaning and each has a reason for receiving it. Thanks for just being there build a bear!
